Introduction<br />
The Emergency Aid and Safety appendix covers emergency<br />
precautions, aid, and safety for some fumigants. The information in<br />
this appendix is from the USDA-APHIS-PPQ Treatment <strong>Manual</strong>. See<br />

Fumigant Safety Precautions<br />
Fumigants are generally toxic when inhaled or spilled on skin or<br />
clothing.<br />
You carefully must read the label of each product used in the<br />
treatment of golden nematode before using the product. Review<br />
Fumigant Monitoring before applying any pesticide.<br />
If an accident should occur, then immediately follow and implement<br />
the First Aid measures listed on the label of the pesticide being used.<br />
Safety Procedures<br />
Follow specific precautions listed on the label of each fumigant to be<br />
used.<br />
