Referencing Predefined Structures
These calls permit the inclusion in content of complex pre-built structures. These

structures may be arbitrarily positioned, scaled and rotated when placed into the
content.
dlpdfcontentreferenceform
This procedure places a copy of a Form into the current content. All of the markings
in the Form will appear. The lower left hand corner of the Form will be positioned at
(X, Y). The Form will be rotated counter-clockwise as per rotate and scaled as per
ScaleX and ScaleY.
dlpdfcontentreferenceimage
This procedure places a copy of the referenced image into the current content. It will
be placed so as to align its lower left hand corner with (X, Y), will be scaled as per
ScaleX and ScaleY, and rotated as per Rotate.
The Scale Factors will determine the resulting size of the image. You need to know the
original image resolution and its intended size in order to determine whether a Scale
Factor on either axis is required. In DLI v2.2.5 and higher, the
dlpdfimagegetsize method can retrieve image sizing data for you, and dividing
the intended print size by the file size for each dimension (delivered by
dlpdfimagegetsize) will yield a Scale Factor ratio which
dlpdfcontentreferenceimage will use to calculate the final output image size.
