• Fonts created for a document have most of their characteristics, including their
system fonts and translation tables, cached in the DLPDFINSTANCE used to create

• TrueType and Type1 fonts allow for faster processing than CIDType0 and
CIDType2 fonts. They should therefore be used whenever possible.
