a sample PDF file to the document, and write a PostScript Level 2 output file.
Additionally, an output PDF file will be written.
The application does all processing of the material in PDF form; the PostScript is
generated by exporting the PDF file created by the Adobe PDF Library and DLI to
PostScript output. This sample shows how one might write an application to convert
PDF files to PostScript for printing or other processing.
WideText
This sample demonstrates the DLI interface to the ICU functionality, used to typeset
lines of text in Unicode or other wide-text encodings. This functionality supercedes
the Unicode functionality present in the DLI v2.2.x series. This functionality is
available for TrueType, TrueType Collection and OpenType font files. This sample
also demonstrates the use of DLPDFTEXT areas for placement of text.
NOTE: This sample uses ArialUnicodeMS and BitstreamCyberbit, fonts which are
not distributed with Adobe PDF Library or DLI. You must ensure that these fonts are
accessible (or that the sample is modified to use others instead) when running this
program, or problems may occur, as either a raised exception or an output
document containing blank glyphs.
