10.12. DLI Implementation and Reference Guide
dlpdfpathaddcurve
This is the first of the four methods which add a spline, or cubic Bézier curve, to the
Concepts and Facilities: Guide to the DL Pager Composition System
path.
All Bézier curves consist of four points:
Xctrl1/
Yctrl1
Xend/
Yend
Xstart/
Ystart
Xctrl2/
Yctrl2
This method (as well as the following three) uses current position as the starting point
of the curve. If no starting point is specified, the method will raise an exception
(genErrBadParm).
The first two parameters of this method are the position of Control Point 1, the
second two parameters are the position of Control Point 2, and the last two
parameters are the position of the end point of the curve.
Following this method, the current position will be the end point of the curve.
dlpdfpathaddcurver
This method is identical to dlpdfpathaddcurve, except that the positions are
expressed as relative distances from the current point, not absolute distances from the
origin.
