Device RGB<br />

This space allows you to use full color by encoding the color as three channels, one for<br />

Concepts <strong>and</strong> Facilities: <strong>Guide</strong> to the DL Pager Composition System<br />

each of the Radiant primary colors Red, Green <strong>and</strong> Blue. Each channel has a value<br />

between zero (none of this color) <strong>and</strong> 1 (highest level of this color).<br />

The color channels are always<br />

• color[0] = RED<br />

• color[1] = GREEN<br />

• color[2] = BLUE<br />

If your internal model uses a different sequence, you must reorder the colors when<br />

setting color values.<br />

The atom used to create an RGB color space is DeviceRGB.<br />

Device CMYK<br />

This space allows you to use full color by encoding the color as 4 channels, one for<br />

each of the absorbent colors Cyan, Magenta <strong>and</strong> Yellow, <strong>and</strong> a fourth channel for<br />

Black. Each channel has a value between zero (No Absorption) <strong>and</strong> 1 (Full<br />

Absorption).<br />

The channels are arranged as<br />

• color[0] = CYAN<br />

• color[1] = MAGENTA<br />

• color[2] = YELLOW<br />

• color[3] = BLACK<br />

The atom used to create a CMYK color space is DeviceCMYK.<br />

Calibrated Gray<br />

This is a calibrated color space, intended to make use of the knowledge of the display<br />

device’s characteristics to more accurately depict levels of gray. The values for this
