Technical Notes
1 Only internal destinations (within the same document) are supported by this
method.
2 Valid Fit Type values are “Fit”, “FitH”, “FitV”, “FitBH”, “FitBV”,
“FitR”, “FitB”, and “XYZ”. See the Adobe PDF Library Reference Guide for
explanations of the meaning of each fit type and which values of rectangle and
zoom are used for each.
3 If nested outlines are desired, these structures should be saved by the application.
They will be destroyed automatically when the document is destroyed and may
not be accessed after that time. Their contents must not be modified, as they are
maintained within the package.
4 Zero values in the rectangle will behave as PDViewNull values, as will a zero
value for Zoom.
5 The most common values used are XYZ as the fit type, Zero for Zoom, and the
(X,Y) coordinates of the upper left hand edge of the desired target text in
Where.top and Where.left. This will change to the target page and position
the specified text so it is within the display window, leaving the Magnification
factor where the user last set it.
