Configuring the TAINY GMOD-Sx
interface answers the call with the command ATA – see COM
interface: AT commands supported in CS mode, page 78.
This requires that the TAINY GMOD-Sx be set to Dial-up
connection mode (CS), see page 42.
An existing GPRS connection, i.e. to the TAINY
SwitchingCenter, will be interrupted when a GSM data call
comes in.
Afterwards the GPRS connection will be restored if
TAINY GMOD-Sx is set to Leased line mode (LL). If DTR is
selected for Control in connection mode Leased line (LL), the
DTR signal has to be active.
TAINY GMOD-S2:
The following parameters only apply for the TAINY GMOD-S2.
Furthermore, they are only active if the device is configured
such that incoming GSM data calls shall be routed to COM2
(see configuration tab CSD Transparent, page 55).
Baud rate:......................................................................................
(Default: 57600) Defines the speed with which the TAINY
GMOD-S2 communicates with the application connected to its
interface COM2.
Permissible values: 300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200,
38400, und 57600.
If you want to change the value use the selection list.
The value set here must match the speed with which the
connected application can communicate.
Character format:..............................................................................
Default: 8N1 (= 8 data bits, non parity, 1 stop bit)
Defines the character format with which the TAINY GMOD-S2
communicates with the application connected to its COM2 port.
Permissible values:
7N1, 8E1, 7E1, 8O1, 7O1, 8N2, 7N2, 8E2, 7E2, 8O2, 7O2, 8N1
If you want to change the value use the selection list.
The value set here must match the speed with which the
connected application can communicate.
