In order that the <strong>TAINY</strong> <strong>GMOD</strong>-Sx can work with the inserted<br />
SIM card of the network operator the PIN number of the SIM<br />
card must be advised to the device by setting this parameter.<br />
The specified PIN is transferred to the internal mobile during<br />
the start phase.<br />
Only when the SIM card used does not have a PIN may you<br />
leave this field empty.<br />
Entry of an incorrect PIN number is indicated by an error<br />
message at the bottom in the SIM/PIN status. In addition the<br />
network status LED blinks fast.<br />
Changing the PIN number of the SIM card<br />
If you wish to program a new PIN number into the SIM card<br />
being used then activate the check box Set new PIN and enter<br />
the desired PIN. This is taken over by the device following a<br />
restart of the <strong>TAINY</strong> <strong>GMOD</strong>-Sx.<br />
Changing the PIN is only possible if the SIM card has a PIN<br />
and when you have previously specified and transferred the<br />
old PIN to the <strong>TAINY</strong> <strong>GMOD</strong>-Sx.<br />
