He was previously Director-General of Education in South Australia and held several senior positions in the Victorian Public Service. He has worked asa teacher, lecturer and education administrator. Dr Boston is a member of the Australian Council for Education Research, theCurriculum Corporation, the Civics Education Group, the Australian International Education Foundation Council, the EnterpriseEducation Committee and the NSW Centenary of Federation Committee.
