4.5.1.4 Texts
4.5.1.4.1 Advanced Text Properties
Changing the position of the text and modifying the connected status variable are both considered additional text
properties.
The position can be set exactly (in pixels) with the
'Top' and 'Left' fields. On text panels, these
specifications refer to rows and columns. These
settings cannot be changed during runtime.
The Status Variable is of data type UINT. For static
text, bit 0 is responsible for determining whether the
text is displayed or not.

BIT 0 == 0 − Text shown

Dynamic Text output provides additional possibilities for designing the visualization task.
4.5.2 Lines
Lines are used for arranging pictures in the Visual Components editor.
Lines can be only be drawn with a width of 1 pixel. Not all panels support lines. Some panels only support
horizontal and vertical lines. Slanted lines can only be drawn on graphic panels. This hardware limitation is
taken into account by the editor.
4.5.2.1 Drawing Lines
The line mode is activated by selecting the line icon from the toolbar. The start point is determined by
clicking the left mouse button in the display. The end point is set by holding down the left mouse button and
dragging the positioning tool to the desired end position.
Note:
Some panels can only display horizontal and vertical lines.
Line width is always 1 pixel. The line can later be moved or edited in the editor. If Ctrl is held down while drawing
the line, then the editor will only allow a horizontal or vertical line to be drawn. If 'Snap Moving Objects to Grid' is
activated, then the endpoint of the line can only be on an intersecting point of the set grid. A line can be deleted
using the shortcut menu or the Del key.
The 'Object Properties' dialog box is opened by double−clicking on the line.
