Y Specifies the position of the upper left corner along the Y axis (interval from the upper display margin). Values for these parameters begin with 0 on the upper margin and increase to the height of the display minus one pixel (on the lower margin). Possible Settings for Full Graphic Displays Possible Settings for Text and Semi−Graphic Displays The field can be placed freely in the display. Therefore, Y can be set from 0 to the height of the display minus the height of the field in pixels. On text and semi−graphic displays, such as those which can be connected to the C130 CAN controller, fields can only be placed evenly on every eighth Y−coordinate (Y = 0, 8, 16, 24, etc.). Data Point Allows a variable to be connected which is displayed and operated with this input field. Source Assign... Used to input or display the connected variable. Possible Settings Name of a process variable with one of the following data types: USINT, SINT, UINT, INT, UDINT, DINT, or REAL. The Assign... button opens a dialog box to select a variable for the Source field. By default, only variables of suitable types are displayed. Status Contains various settings for formatting the field on the screen. Source Assign... Preview Displays the field with the current settings. For the general operation of dialog boxes. OK Cancel Used to input or display the connected variable. Possible Settings Name of a UINT process variable Possible Values Bit 0 If 1, the input field is invisible. Bit 1 If 1, then input is locked. Bit 14 Is set to 1 while the input field has the focus (is highlighted). The focus determines which input field is to accept input from the operator panel. If the input field loses the focus, then this bit is reset back to 0. Bit 15 Is set to 1 while the input field is activated (the value in the input field is being edited). It will be set back to 0 after the input has been completed or cancelled. All other bits are reserved. The Assign... button opens a dialog box to select a variable for the Source field. By default, only variables of suitable types are displayed. Buttons Applies settings and closes the dialog box. If settings cannot be applied because of an error, it is indicated and the dialog box is not closed. Note: All changes are applied, including those made under different (hidden) tabs. Introduction to Visual Components 2.3 3.2.2.1.2 Numeric Input Field − Properties: Colors Allows colors to be set for the field's display. 3.2.2.1.2.1 Image Allows colors to be set in the editor. Use Global Foreground Background Colors If this option is selected, then settings in the project options are applied to this input field. Therefore, settings for foreground and background cannot be made. Selects the text color used for this input field. This setting can only be activated if the Use Global option is not selected.
