4.11.8.3 Configuring Status Texts As already described in the general configuration section of the alarm system, texts used for printing different alarm states can be adapted to print requirements. The appropriate dialog box is opened by selecting 'Configuration' from the Alarm Groups shortcut menu in the Visual Components project tree. Text can be customized for the events or states such as 'Triggered', 'Reset', 'Acknowledged', 'Unacknowledged', 'Bypassed' and 'Not bypassed'. These settings can be made accordingly for each language in the project. For this, languages can be switched using the 'Language' selection list. 4.11.8.4 Configuring the Print Format Introduction to Visual Components 2.3 The second tab of the dialog field shown above is exclusively used for the alarm printer. Introduction to Visual Components 2.3 4.11.8.4.1 Panel Printer Sequences [ESC] sequences can be defined here for alarm lines of different types. Thus bold print can be selected for certain events to set them apart from other alarms. Structures for necessary sequences are documented in the printer manual of the corresponding alarm printer. The [ESC] key can be used for inputting sequences directly just as the [CTRL] key can be used for shortcut combinations or the [ALT] and number pad keys for input. 4.11.8.4.2 Panel Printer Configuration Determines the format for printer output. It can be chosen for each entry whether and how printing the corresponding information should take place. The currently set format is displayed in the Preview line. 4.11.9 Group Alarms Group alarms make it possible to form a sum alarm from groups of alarms. Exactly one group alarm can be formed for each alarm group which has been configured in the alarm system. It can be determined for each alarm in this group whether it should be included in the formation of the group alarm. 4.11.9.1 Operation Visual Components has a special group within the alarm system in which group alarms are defined.
