IAH will use Safedock’sRamp Information Display System (RIDS) capability tocommunicate important arrival and departure information toground crew and Safedock’s camera feature to provide a liveview of all gate activity to strengthen security surveillance. Thecontract also includes Safegate’s newest gate operatingsoftware, SafeControl - Apron Management that will integratewith the airport’s flight information system and feed critical gateutilization information to the Airport Operational Database(AODB).Client objective: 1. Facilitate common use flexibility of the ramps and gates.2. Provide gate equipment familiar to foreign flag carriers.3.
