Software Operation Manual1. Launch HyperTerminal from the desktop ofthe host computer (Start > Programs >Accessories > Communications >HyperTerminal).2. The Connection Description dialog boxwill appear (if this is the first time you haverun HyperTerminal, you will first beprompted to enter information about yourlocation). Enter a name to identify the RAIDcontroller connection and select an icon torepresent the connection. Press OK.3. The Connect to dialog box appears. SelectCOM1 or COM2 from the Connect using:dropdown menu, depending on which portis linked to YOTTA RAID. Click OK.4. The COM Properties dialog box willappear. Set the following values:Bits per second: 115,200Data bits: 8Parity: NoneStop bits: 1Flow Control: None1152005. Click OK. The HyperTerminal connection toYOTTA RAID is now established.None- 20 -
