Setting the PROFIBUS Address for the<br />
COM15 Module<br />
The PROFIBUS-DP address is stored in the<br />
COM15 PROFIBUS-DP module on the circuit<br />
breaker. The system is shipped with the<br />
default address 126. All the stations on the<br />
PROFIBUS-DP must have a unique address,<br />
which means that a new address must be<br />
assigned when the PROFIBUS-DP modules<br />
are commissioned.<br />
The COM15 module adopts the new address,<br />
although it cannot be used until the 24V DC<br />
supply voltage for the CubicleBUS has been<br />
interrupted briefly. The address is not active<br />
until the voltage is restored.<br />

You can also set the communication parameters using the BDA, as well as the parameters<br />
for operation on the Ethernet/intranet/Internet.<br />
You can also use STEP7 to change the PROFIBUS address. To do so, however, the PC with<br />
STEP7 must be connected to the slave by means of an MPI or PROFIBUS interface.<br />
