He also had a company car.In addition to the directors’ fees received fromBNP Paribas SA, in 2004 David Peake receiveddirectors’ fees of EUR 48,634 in his capacityas Chairman of BNP Paribas Finance Plc and BNPParibas UK Holdings Ltd. He also has a companycar, provided by BNP Paribas Finance Plc.Directors’ feesThe total fees paid to the directors of BNP ParibasSA are determined by the General Meeting ofShareholders. The fees awarded to each directorfor 2004 (1) were unchanged from prior yearsat EUR 22,868. In addition, the chairmenof the Commitees of the Board each receiveEUR 7,622 and the other members of theseCommittees each receive EUR 4,574. One halfof the fee paid to each director is based onthe director’s attendance rate at Board meetingsand meetings of any Committees of which heor she is a member.
