TRAVELING IN WATER OR ON SOFTTERRAINDRIVING THE MACHINE1. Do not operate the machine with the front and rearaxles, transmission, parking brake or front and rearpropel shafts submerged in water. Avoid traveling inwater if possible.2. When traveling in water is unavoidable, the machinemay be submerged up to a depth of A: 300 mm(11.8") as long as the stream bed is even and thewater flows slowly.If the bed is uneven and the water flow is rapid,leavea safety margin in order to guarantee the machine willnot be submerged deeper than 300 mm (11.8").3. When operating the machine on muddy ground, mudwill easily accumulate on the chassis frame even ifthe chassis is seldom submerged in muddy water.Check regularly and clean as necessary.AMCBB-04-007IMPORTANT: Once the axles, transmission, parkingbrake, etc. are submerged, they shouldbe reconditioned immediately. Otherwise,excessive wear on revolving parts suchas gears and bearings will result in and/or the brake will become inoperable.Consult the nearest your authorizeddealer.EXTRICATION FROM SOFT GROUNDAvoid traveling on soft terrain. In case the machine has tounavoidably travel on soft train, follow the instruction below:If the wheels start spinning, lower the bucket to the groundand raise the machine front off the ground using the boomand arm function. Then, try to extricate the machine whilerolling the arm in. Operate the boom, arm, and acceleratorpedal simultaneously so that excessive loads will not beapplied to the machine.4-7
