OPERATOR'S STATIONSWING LOCK LEVERThe swing lock lever locks the swing function by mechanicallyconnecting the upperstructure to the undercarriage.CAUTION: Be sure to place swing lock lever (1)in the LOCK position to prevent the upperstructurefrom swinging whenever transporting on atrailer, traveling on roads, moving from one jobsite to another or parking on a slope.IMPORTANT: Never operate the swing lock lever whilerotating the upperstructure. Damage tothe main frame may result.Engage Swing LockBe sure to place swing lock lever (1) in the LOCK positionwhenever transporting on a trailer, traveling onroads, moving from one job site to another or parking ona slope.11. Align the swing lock holes on the upperstructure andundercarriage.2. Lower swing lock lever (1) to the LOCK position.3. Check that swing lock lever is securely engaged inthe LOCK position by slightly rotating the upperstructure.Disengage Swing LockPlace swing lock lever (1) to the UNLOCK position whenoperating or traveling the machine to or on job sites.LOCK Position1M216-05-0041.
