DRIVING THE MACHINEPARKINGPark the machine in the following steps:1. Release forward/reverse pedal (1) slowly.2. Depress brake pedal (2) to stop the machine.3. Place shift lever (3) in neutral. Turn brake switch (4)to the P (parking) position.4. Turn auto-idle switch (5) OFF.5. Fully turn engine control dial (6) counterclockwise.Run the engine at slow idle speed for approx. 5 minutesto cool the engine.6. Turn the brake switch (4) to “S” (working) position.7. After checking that the swing lock is in the LOCK position,lower the bucket to the ground.8. Turn the brake switch (4) to “P” (parking) position.9. Turn key switch (7) OFF to stop the engine. Removethe key.10. Raise pilot control shut-off lever (8) to the LOCK position.11. Close and lock all windows, cab door, and serviceaccess covers.
