MAINTENANCEClean Feed Pump Strainer--- every 1000 hours,1. Close the stop valve (1) on the bottom of fuel tank tostop the fuel.2. Remove the feed pump inlet hose joint bolt (3), locatedat water separator (2) inlet.3. Remove strainer (4) from joint bolt (3) using a screwdriver.4. Clean strainer (4) using diesel fuel.5. Install and tighten strainer (4) and plug (5) in joint bolt(3).6. Install and tighten joint bolt (3). Then, bleed air fromthe fuel system.7. Open the stop valve (1) on the bottom of fuel tank.8. MAINTENANCECheck Fuel Hoses--- daily--- every 250 hoursCAUTION: Fuel leaks can lead to fires that mayresult in serious injury.To avoid this hazard :1. Park the machine on a firm, level surface. Lower thebucket to the ground. Stop the engine. Remove keyfrom the key switch. Pull the pilot control shut-offlever to the LOCK position.2. Check for kinked hoses, and hoses that rub againsteach other parts for leaks.Check hoses at the check points indicated below forleaks and other damage that may result in futureleaks. If any abnormalities are found, replace or retightenthem, as shown in Table 4.3. Repair or replace any loose or damaged hoses.Never install bent or damaged hoses.Table 4.
