PRECAUTIONS FOR OPERATIONSOPERATING THE MACHINECAUTION: Investigate the work site beforestarting operations.!" Be sure to install an overhead cab guard whenoperating in a work site which has a possibilityof falling objects.!" If operation on soft ground is required, sufficientlyreinforce the ground beforehand.• Be sure to wear close fitting clothing and safetyequipment appropriate for the job, such as a hard hat,etc. when operating the machine.• Clear all persons and obstacles from area of operationand machine movement.Always beware of the surroundings while operating.When working in a small area surrounded by obstacles,take care not to hit the upperstructure againstobstacles.• When loading onto trucks, bring the bucket over thetruck beds from the rear side. Take care not to swingthe bucket over the cab or over any person.M202-05-0145-13
OPERATE THE MACHINE SAFELYOPERATING THE MACHINECAUTION: Reinforce the work site groundstrength enough to prevent the machine fromturning over, being buried, or falling down.!" Before operating the machine close to roadshoulders, reinforce the road shoulder groundstrength enough to support the machine. Operatethe machine with the undercarriage facingperpendicular to the road shoulder so thatthe machine can more easily evacuate if theroad shoulder collapses.!" Before operating the machine at the bottom ofa cliff, check that the cliff is in no danger ofcollapsing. If any danger is foreseen, neveroperate the machine in that area.!" If the foot strength is not strong enough tosupport the machine, the machine may turnover during operation. Reinforce the footstrength by laying pieces of solid plates beforeoperating the machine.!" If required to operate the machine on roughterrain or slope, slowly operate the machinefor safety. Failure to do so may create dangerof turning over due to loss of stability or inertiaforce of operation.M202-05-0155-14
