<strong>Crime</strong> & Criminals Tracking Network and Systems ProjectSikkim PoliceThe technical specifications of Web Server, Application Server, Database Server, Storage etc hasbeen provided in Annexure X of <strong>RFP</strong> Volume IEnterprise Management and Monitoring Solution (EMS)Sikkim State has an Enterprise Management Solution for its SDC, which addresses the followingareas:• Network management comprising of Fault manager• Performance monitoring for network and Servers• Application Performance & Traffic Monitoring• Host level security for serversBidders to do a detailed assessment of the existing EMS at state data centre and as part ofimplementing the monitoring tool for this project, <strong>SI</strong> is required to procure full use CAL licenses ofthe existing EMS/ additional modules (if any) with Sikkim State for this project from the OEM. <strong>SI</strong>shall be responsible for configuring and integrating the Sikkim Police sites on the existing EMS.<strong>SI</strong> shall also be required to provide all the necessary hardware/ software to meet the belowmentioned indicative requirements from EMS.Specification-cum-Compliance Sheet for EMSSlNoSpecificationBasic Requirements1 Solution should be inclusive with hardware, OS, patches, etc.Solution should provide for future scalability of the whole system2without major architectural changes.3 Should be SNMP v1, v2, v3 and MIB-II compliant.Filtering of events should be possible, with advance sort option4based on components, type of message, time etc.5 Should support Web / Administration Interface.6 Should provide compatibility to standard RDBMS.Solution should be open, distributed, and scalable and open to7third party integration.Should provide fault and performance management for multivendorTCP/IP networks.8SecurityShould be able to provide secured windows based consoles /9secured web-based consoles for accessibility to EMS.Should have web browser interface with user name and Password10Authentication.Administrator/ Manager should have privilege to11create/modify/delete user.Polling Cycle12 Support discriminated pollingShould be able to update device configuration changes such as13re-indexing of portsFault ManagementShould be able to get fault information in real time and present the14 same in alarm window with description, affected component, timestamp etc.Should be able to get fault information from heterogeneous15devices — routers, switches, servers etc.16 Event related to servers should go to a common enterprise eventComplied(Y/N)Value Add (Ifany)/RemarksVolume <strong>III</strong> Request for Proposal for Selection of System Integrator Page 101 of 132
