Crime & Criminals Tracking Network and Systems ProjectSikkim Policenumber of valid end user software licenses consistent with the terms and conditions of sitelicense agreements, volume purchase agreements, and other mutually agreed upon licensedsoftware terms and conditions and report to Sikkim Police.All the software licenses should be in the name of DGP, Sikkim.All Operating system, database and other software licenses for DC and DR shall be genuine,perpetual, full use and should provide patches, bug fixes, security patches and updates directlyfrom the respective developer / manufacturer for the contract period. The CAS application will beimplemented at various police locations from where various departmental users will access theCore Application Software on approximately 500 desktop computers.The software product used should have well defined product roadmap by the respectivedeveloper / manufacturer.The proposed system software must provide indemnification and indemnification must coverpatent claims, copy right claims, legal fees and damages claim. System integrator and /ordeveloper/ manufacturer must protect the department from all such legal cost that may arise outof any claim by a third party alleging intellectual property infringement i.e. related to the software.Bidder shall provide a comprehensive warranty that covers all components after the issuance ofthe final acceptance test of department. The warranty should cover all materials, licenses,services and support for both hardware and software. Bidder shall administer warranties withserial number of equipment during warranty period. Upon final acceptance of the Sikkim Policeany manufacturer warranties will be transferred to the Sikkim Police at no additional charge. Allwarranty documentation (whether expired or not) will be delivered to Sikkim Police at theissuance of final acceptance certificate.The bidder shall provide with a full use of database license during the project period forunrestricted users. Database should have received the security certification such as Internationalcommon criteria for information technology security evaluation. Database should also supportindustry standard TCP benchmark.
