Crime & Criminals Tracking Network and Systems ProjectSikkim PoliceGLOSSARY OF TERMSThe definitions of various terms that have been used in this RFP are as follows:“Request for Proposal (RFP)” means all three Volumes and its annexure and any otherdocuments provided along with this RFP or issued during the course of the selection of bidder,seeking a set of solution(s), services(s), materials and/or any combination of them.“Contract / Agreement / Contract Agreement/ Master Service Agreement” means theAgreement to be signed between the successful bidder and Sikkim Police, including allattachments, appendices, all documents incorporated by reference thereto together with anysubsequent modifications, the RFP, the bid offer, the acceptance and all relatedcorrespondences, clarifications, presentations.“Bidder” means any firm offering the solution(s), service(s) and /or materials as required inthe RFP. The word Bidder when used in the pre-award period shall be synonymous with partiesbidding against this RFP, and when used after award of the Contract shall mean the successfulparty with whom Sikkim Police signs the agreement for rendering of services for implementationof this project.“Proposal / Bid” means the Pre-Qualification, Technical and Commercial bids submitted forthis project against this RFP.“Requirements” shall mean and include all the reports prepared by Sikkim Police SPMC,schedules, details, description, statements of technical data, performance characteristics andstandards (Indian & International) as applicable and specified in the RFP.“Successful Implementation / Go-Live” will mean:oooooSuccessful deployment, commissioning and UAT of the CCTNS application modulesimplemented during the phaseSite Preparation including civil works, creation of LAN, electrical works, etc. during thatphase after verification and approval by Sikkim Police or its constituted committees orrepresentativesSuccessful Data digitization / migration after verification and approval by Sikkim Police orits constituted committees or representativesTraining and Certification of all the trainees, trained on the CCTNS application modules ofthat PhaseProcurement, deployment and commissioning of the hardware at PHQ, Data Center, DRSite and other locations required to support the functioning of modules of that PhaseVolume III Request for Proposal for Selection of System Integrator Page 6 of 132
