<strong>Hunter</strong> e36 • AC Electric SystemsAC Electric SystemsBesides a 12 Volt DC negative ground system, your<strong>Hunter</strong> boat has a 120V 60 HZ AC system.It is not the intent of this manual to educate you on repairor extending the electrical system. The scope of this manualis to provide the basic information needed for safety,operation and maintenance of these systems.! WARNING !Electricity cannot be detected without the use ofspecialized test equipment. Never think you knowwhether a circuit is “live”. Always have qualified,competent professionals inspect or make repairs toyour electrical systems.8.1 AC Power Systems & ComponentsThe AC System consists of the following systems orcomponents:••••••••••120 Volt AC PanelShore Power Line 1Shore Power Line 2Generator (Option)Inverter (Option)OutletsMicrowaveBattery ChargerWater HeaterAir Conditioner (Option)The AC system is a three-wire grounded system poweredby either the generator or shore power hookups locatedaft. Circuit breakers for AC Line 1 and AC Line 2 arelocated in port side euro locker.Note: Telephone and cable TV inlet jacks are also next tothe shore power inlet plugs.Note: It is important that you review the “Electric Shock” pamphletincluded with your manual and understand the importanceof electrical safety. While electricity is one of our greatestfriends, it can well be your worst enemy. Be sure and followthe warnings posted in this manual and your component orsystems manuals in your owner’s packet and practice goodsafety. Always have trained, competent technicians to serviceyour electrical systems, it could mean your life.circuits.
