Allow the engine to cool, thenopen the cap slowly to allow any pressure to ventbefore completely removing the cap.to adjust temperature. To increase the temperature, turncounterclockwise. To decrease temperature, turn clockwise4. Lower handle and tighten screw.5. Check outlet temperature.NOTE: Refer to User’s manual in OEM Packet.! CAUTION !Before using any system that requires raw coolingwater, ensure that the intake valve is opened and thestrainers are not clogged. Section 9.4.6 illustratesthe procedure for cleaning your strainers.HotterColderTurn9.3.6 Water HeaterThe fresh water pump supplies water to the water heaterfrom the water tanks. A breaker on the AC side of theMDP, and a rocker switch on the control panel controlspower to the heater.Follow these procedures when using the water heater:1. Make sure the water heater is full of water. Open ahot water faucet and allow a steady stream of water toflow out of the faucet to remove all air from the hot watercircuit.2. With the generator running or shore power connectedto your boat, switch on the WATER HEATER circuitbreaker at the AC side of the MDP.3. Wait for the water in the tank to heat up, then use asyou would at home.!
