Turn off shore power breaker.C. Turn off shore Inlet Breaker.D. On the dock: Turn off the dock breakerE. Disconnect the dock side power cord.F. On the boat: Disconnect the power cord from theboat.8.1.3 Shore Power CableThe shore power cable set is intended for use outdoors.To prolong the life of the set, store indoors when not inuse. The metallic parts of your cable set are made toresist corrosion. In a salt-water environment, periodicallywiping the exposed parts with fresh water, drying andspraying with a moisture repellent can increase life of theproduct. A soiled cable can be cleaned with a grease cuttinghousehold detergent. A periodic application of vinylprotector to both ends will help to maintain cables originalappearance.The ISO Transformer is a standard “dry” type 3.6 KVAtransformer that basically isolates your boat from theshore power. It is a valuable safety feature aboard yourboat.8.1.5 AC Distribution PanelThe distribution panels for both AC and DC power arelocated behind the nav station seat.8.1.6 Generator (Option)The standard generator on your boat provides 120VAC60 HZ for operating devices and equipment controlledthrough the AC Distribution Panel. The generator is alsocontrolled from the AC Distribution Panel.8.1.6.1 Connecting Generator PowerBefore connecting generator power to the AC system:A. Turn off all AC devices and equipment.B. Disconnect shore power if connected. Set AC Maincircuit breakers to OFF.C. Start generator. (See generator startup instructionsfollowing)D. Move slide bar up to lock out shore power. Set generatorbreaker ON.E. Switch on only the circuits you will be using.Incase of salt water immersion, rinse plug end and/orconnector end thoroughly in freah water, shake or blowout excess water and allow to dry.
