<strong>Hunter</strong> e36 • AC Electric SystemsE. Plug power cord into #1 shore power inlet, to supplypower to “Line 1” side of AC Distribution Panel. Turnclockwise to lock. Thread the locking ring onto the boatreceptacle to prevent accidental unplugging.F. Plug power cord into #2 shore power inlet, to supplypower to “Line 2” side of AC Distribution Panel. Turnclockwise to lock. Thread the locking ring onto the boatreceptacle to prevent accidental unplugging.! CAUTION !Be certain the water heater is full of water and doesnot contain air. If the water heater is not full of water,damage to the heating elements may result whenthe electrical power is turned on to the unit.2. On the Dock:A. Turn off dock breaker.B. Plug other end of power cord into dock outlet box.C. Turn on dock breaker.Figure 8.3! WARNING !Using a damaged or improper cord for shore powercan cause electrical shock and serious injury. Use acord specifically designed for shore power connection.Do not use a household extension cord.! CAUTION !Water is an excellent conductor of electricity. Keepshore power cord out of water. Do not operate anyAC device while you or the cord are in the water. Toprevent injury or equipment damage, keep all ACsystem components dry.! WARNING !DO NOT connect the shore power cord to the docksideelectrical source first. You could accidentallydrop the cord into the water, which may result inelectrical shock and serious personal injury.Figure 8.4On the boat:D. Turn on shore inlet breakers.E. Turn ON AC Main breaker on shore power “Line 1”side of panel.“Line 1” side of AC Panel should now be operable.Note: Approximately 15 second delay on optional invertermodels.F. Turn ON AC Main breaker on shore power “Line 2” sideof panel.“Line 2” side of AC Panel should now be operable.Note: The optional air conditioner is powered by theshore power “Line 2” cable. If any other appliances areto be used with air conditioner running when on shorepower both shore power “Line 1” and shore power “Line2” cables must be hooked up.3.
