Francis John• THEME OR TYPE OF PROJECT The education and rehabilitation of child labourersand school dropouts in Mysore• AIMS OF THE PROJECT The education and rehabilitation of child labourersand school dropouts in Mysore initiated by DonBosco is a community based project involving asmany people as possible. We follow a collaborativeand participatory approach including all those whoare interested in enhancing the rights of children.We know that the Volunteers can make significantcontribution in this project. They can be rolemodels for the marginalized children and theircommunities. They can promote an attitude ofservice that goes beyond caste, colour, gender, ornational boundaries and make people contributetowards a cause.
