The maintenance and enhancement of the natural environment around Umgeni Water managed dams.i. Control of alien invasive plants.ii. Management of game species according to the carrying capacity of each reserve.iii. Grassland management.2. The control of pollution inside of the purchase area surrounding Umgeni Water managed dams.i. Ensuring that infrastructure developments takes place with minimum impacts on theenvironment.ii.
