Upon com ple tion of the ex am i na tion of the pa tient bythe judges at each sta tion, the team shall be in formed ofany in frac tions re gard ing treat ment while at the sta tion.The team will be per mit ted to ver bally ap peal any in -frac tions ei ther with the field judge or the chief judge. Ifnot re solved, the chief judge will make the fi nal de ci -sion un til an ap peal can be filed by the team.2. Dur ing the ver bal ap peal pro cess, all ques tion ablesplints/dress ings shall re main in tact un til the ap peal isre solved. If any ques tion able splints/dress ings are re -moved or al tered by the team prior to be ing re solved,the ap peal shall not be allowed.3. Teams will have 15 min utes af ter be ing no ti fied to re -port to the area des ig nated for 20 min ute looks. Theteam shall have 20 min utes for re view ing the judgesscore cards and an additional 30 min utes to pre pare andsub mit any ap peals. All ap peals shall be in writ ing andshall clearly state the team’s com ments to the dis countin ques tion. All ap peals will be con sid ered by the Fi nalAp peals Com mit tee and a de ci sion will be bind ing andfinal.80
