LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE1. The function of this standing committee is to study projects assigned to it by the Board of Directors with thefuture growth of the ABC and the maximum potential development of the club foremost.2. Reports shall be made to the Board. Examples of projects considered in the past are: regional councils,futurities, championships, regional classics, increase of minimum club membership, fulltime executive office,permanent grounds for classics, and rotation of the national championships.STATISTICS COMMITTEE1. The duties of this committee are to maintain and supply records and information to the executive secretary,officers, members of the Board of Directors, editor of "The American Brittany" magazine and general membershipupon request.2. Charts shall be reduced to those dogs having five (5) wins or more in any one year, and the charts will bepublished in the magazine when space is available. (1978)3. Compile the complete record of wins for each nominee to the Hall of Fame together with a list of his or heroutstanding progeny.4. The statistician shall supply lists of the top winners in the all-time records in such categories as may helpthe committee in determining the position of the nominees in relation to other top dogs of the breed.5. The statistics committee shall supply, in a timely manner, such additional information at the disposal of thecommittee as may be requested by members of the Hall of Fame committee.6. Submit a report of your activities and recommendations to the Agenda Chairman in advance of the annualBoard meeting. This must be done far enough in advance so the Agenda Chairman can have the agenda in the handsof the directors six (6) weeks prior to the annual Board meeting. (1992)7. The statistician is to compile the list of qualified dogs for the national open, national amateur and nationalgun dog championships and send to editor and executive secretary.127
