13. The ABC Membership Data Chairperson shall provide the Executive Secretary with current full members listand count by region for printing Directors' Election ballot labels for use the first of August.14. The ABC Membership Data Chairperson shall compile a quarterly report (March, June, Sept., Dec.) ofmemberships to be paid to regional clubs to the ABC Treasurer for distribution.($10 of each full membershipgoes to regional club, $1 of each associate membership goes to regional club.)15. Some people are members of more than one club. They may elect to receive a magazine for each membershipor only one mailing. This should be reflected in the membership list as “No Mail” on those particular subscriptionsbut will be included in number of ballots provided during the election.16. If someone indicates they wish to be a member of a regional club but does not specify a choice, theMembership Chairperson will assign them to a club (subject to clubs’ prior acceptance of such members). This isbased on a regional map as described in Section 2 of the Policy Book “Designation of Regions”.17. Send labels to Marshfield to be placed on renewal postcards. These should be sent two (2) months in advance ofmember’s expiration date.18. Welcome postcards or emails should be sent to new members upon joining ABC.19. Acknowledgement of renewal dues received should be sent to continuing members. (2012)20. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE NATIONALSThe qualifications for the ABC National Open All Age Championship and the National Amateur All AgeChampionship are set each year for the following year by the Board of Directors of the ABC subject to the approvalof AKC.The qualifications for the National Gun-Dog Championship are also sent to AKC for their approval.(1989)These qualifications must be sent to AKC by the Executive Secretary of the ABC immediately following the ABCBoard meeting and must be printed in "The American Brittany" magazine as soon as possible after AKC approvalDue to the volatility of the qualifications, all qualifications for the National events will be found at the end ofthe policy book.
