Dr. Ghosh received his Ph.D. in MolecularBiology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, NY in 1988. Hedid his postdoctoral research training under Dr. David Baltimore at the WhiteheadInstitute at MIT in Cambridge, MA from 1989-1991.Dr. Ghosh began his independent research career at Yale University School ofMedicine in 1991, and was a Professor in the Departments of Immunobiology andMolecular Biophysics & Biochemistry, before moving to Columbia in December2<strong>00</strong>8. Dr. Ghosh has served in an advisory capacity for several organizations,including the Board of Scientific Counselors of the National Cancer Institute, theAdvisory Board of the Center on Immune Receptors at the Karolinska Institute inStockholm, Sweden, a member of the Board of Management of the National Centerfor Biological Sciences in Bangalore, India; the Scientific Review Board of theDamon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation; and the Scientific Review Council ofthe Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also serves on the editorial board ofmultiple journals including Immunity and Molecular and Cellular Biology. He haspublished more than <strong>10</strong>0 articles.Dr. Ghosh received the American Society of Immunologists-Pharmingen InvestigatorAward in 2<strong>00</strong>2, and was the recipient of the 2<strong>00</strong>8 Cancer Research Institute-F. W. AltAward for New Discoveries in Immunology.
