Macrogen Woman Scientist Award LectureInhee Mook-JungDepartment of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences,Seoul National University College of MedicineDr. Inhee Mook-Jung has been studied for the molecular mechanism of Alzheimer’sdisease (AD) since post-doctoral training. She was specifically interested in how APPprocessing is occurred and what is the role of Abeta for AD pathogenesis. Also, she isinterested in finding biomarker and new therapeutic targets for diagnosis and drugdevelopment of AD. She published many decent papers including original research articleas well as review as a corresponding authors in the field of AD and related disorder.In order to empower and invigorate the research works by distinguished females in science and technology, this award was founded in May2<strong>00</strong>5.The award committee elects two female candidates among PhD holders who demonstrated excellent research works and of Korean citizen -by evaluating their research works, recommendations and resumes, after which the final winner is elected.
