The currentowner, Kyle Powers, has built on the legacyof original owner R. C. Davis, who relied onthe philosophy that the company would havelong term success and viability if it adaptedto changing times and evolving technology.PSB began with the construction of grainbins, expanded into commercial constructionin the 1970s, and gradually added remodeling,major renovation, demolition, relocation, andgeneral construction. PSB offers comprehensiveservices including, engineering, custom design,and construction management. Today, PSB’sportfolio includes substantial projects such asthe expansion of Plains Dairy, industrial facilitiesfor firms like Weyerhaeuser, construction ofaircraft facilities, medical complexes, churches,and feedlot structures. They have completedbuildings for the city of Amarillo and they werethe contractor on the Panhandle Plains StudentLoan Center. PSB enjoys their involvement inthe expansion of new and existing area businesses.They like seeing new businesses comeinto Amarillo and go on to succeed; they havean ongoing commitment to help Amarillo grow.PSB offers a range of pre-constructionservices and makes it a policy to work towardtimely completion on each project. They oftenwork for institutional customers such asuniversities. They are proud of their long termrelationship with West Texas A&M Universityin Canyon where they have done minorrepairs, major renovations, building relocation,and new construction. Other work throughoutthe Panhandle includes jobs completed inBushland, Dalhart, and Hartley.
