The currentowner, Kyle Powers, has built on the legacy<strong>of</strong> original owner R. C. Davis, who relied onthe philosophy that the company would havelong term success and viability if it adaptedto changing times and evolving technology.PSB began with the construction <strong>of</strong> grainbins, expanded into commercial constructionin the 1970s, and gradually added remodeling,major renovation, demolition, relocation, andgeneral construction. PSB <strong>of</strong>fers comprehensiveservices including, engineering, custom design,and construction management. Today, PSB’sportfolio includes substantial projects such asthe expansion <strong>of</strong> Plains Dairy, industrial facilitiesfor firms like Weyerhaeuser, construction <strong>of</strong>aircraft facilities, medical complexes, churches,and feedlot structures. They have completedbuildings for the city <strong>of</strong> Amarillo and they werethe contractor on the Panhandle Plains StudentLoan Center. PSB enjoys their involvement inthe expansion <strong>of</strong> new and existing area businesses.They like seeing new businesses comeinto Amarillo and go on to succeed; they havean ongoing commitment to help Amarillo grow.PSB <strong>of</strong>fers a range <strong>of</strong> pre-constructionservices and makes it a policy to work towardtimely completion on each project. They <strong>of</strong>tenwork for institutional customers such asuniversities. They are proud <strong>of</strong> their long termrelationship with West Texas A&M Universityin Canyon where they have done minorrepairs, major renovations, building relocation,and new construction.
