• Marina Monteiro, Department of Microbiology, was awarded the Rev. Fr. T.A.
Mathias award for Innovative College Educators, in the year 2010 conferred by
All India Association for Catholic Higher Education (AIACHE).
• Tushar S. Anvekar, Department of Chemistry was promoted from Captain to
Major, the highest civilian ranking in NCC. He was also the recipient of the
‘Commendation Card’, for outstanding contribution to NCC related activities,
awarded by the Chief Minister of Goa.
