• Celebrated ‘Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Divas’
• Conducted Short Term Training Program on “Finite Element Analysis with ANSYS-
Theory & Practice” - 3 rd to 8 th January, 2011.
• Sub Chapter of GTUG was inaugurated on 9 th October, 2010.
• Organised the annual technical festival ‘BLITZKRIEG 2K11’ - 17 th and 18 th March,
2011.
• Organized the annual technical festival “MANTHAN 2011” - 31 st March and 1 st
April, 2011.
• Eight student team of the College ranked Third among 240 teams (among NITs
and IITs) in the All India DRDO student Robotics contest held during February,
2010 in the category of ‘Military Racing Challenge - Autonomous Ground Vehicle for
Low Intensity Conflict’. Later, they presented a successful working prototype robot
to DRDO Panel in Chennai on 29 th October, 2010.
