Sports achievements:
• Ms. Aarti Kurtarkar from the First year BFA class won the first place in Tennis Ball
cricket at the National Level.

• “Presentation Techniques” - 1 st to 2 nd September, 2010.
• “Illustration” - 7th to 12 th February, 2011.
• “Terracotta Technique” - 3rd to 9 th March, 2011.
Other information:
• Participated in the Birth Centenary celebrations of Shri Bakibab Borkar.
• Hrishikesh Madatithi, Deepak Shirodkar, Viparna Vaigankar and Shailesh Dabolkar
won awards at Varnika 2010.
• Viparna Vaigankar, Shailesh Dabolkar and Diptej Vernekar won the first, second
and third places respectively in the Painting Section of the State Art Exhibtion.
Sagar Gaude, Wendy Rodrigues and Vibhav Kamat won awards in the Applied Art
Category. Hrishikesh Madatithi, Liza Correia and Elish Clement were consolation
winners at the same competition.
• Vibhav Kamat won the 2 nd place in an Elocution Competition. Kunal Divkar won
the 1 st place at a Logo designing competition organized by Directorate of Art &
Culture, Goa.
• Sajay Chandrashekar, Saish Shirodkar, Pranesh Desai, Anup Naik and Mitesh
Gaunker won the 1 st place at the Iris film Festival organized by St. Xavier’s College,
Mapusa.
• Vedika Gadekar, Anagha Bhagat and Jyotsa Naik won the first, second and third
prize, respectively in the Mural designing competition organized by GSIDC.
• Denzil Fernandes, Amey Naik, Melvern Godinho, Saeesh Parab, Jubina Fernandes,
Alisha Carvalho, Ratnesh Naik and Siddarth Turi were the winners in the TB
Poster Competition organized by the Health Department, Goa.
• Tejal Sakhardande stood 1 st in an Anti Corruption Poster Competition while
Mitesh Gaunker was awarded a prize in a Boat Making Competition held in
Sanquelim.
• Derek Gurjao, Charlene D’Souza, Anderson Martins and Brandon Fernandes won
the Battle of the Bands at Tatva.
• College won the 2 nd place at Vistara, an activity organized by Goa College of
Architecture.
• Organized a three-day annual Fun Festival - “Kala Rang”.
