Health Centre<br />

The Health Centre at Goa University caters to the medical needs of the students, teachers,<br />

staff members and their families residing on the campus, as well as to patients from the<br />

adjoining villages.<br />

There is one Medical Officer and one Staff Nurse managing the Health Centre which is<br />

open from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm on all working days.<br />

The services provided are:<br />

1. Emergency treatment and first aid<br />

2. Out patient examination and treatment.<br />

3. Centre for DOTS (T.B. Treatment).<br />

4. Health Certification.<br />

5. Disease surveillance.<br />

6. Medical coverage of sports activities.<br />

7. Health Education.<br />
