Achievements of the College:
• Won first prize in Ghumat Aarti Spardha organized by Rotaract Club, Ponda.
• Tulshidas Naik secured first prize in Face Painting, Shri Prembahadur Rajput and
Ms. Seeta Gorkha won second prize in Duet Dance competition and the College
won 3 rd place in Group Dance competition at Cultural Feast organized by Zantye
College, Bicholim.
• Secured 3 rd prize in Group Dance competition at the Goa Yuva Mahotsava.
• Won Second prize for the Marathi Play “Savarbet” at the all Goa One Act Play
competition organized by Goa Kala Academy and also at the Inter-Collegiate One
Act Play competition organized by Saraswat College, Mapusa and 3 rd prize for the
“Sakal Karandak Spardha” organized during the year.
• Omkar Kulkarni secured First place in Essay Writing Competition organized by
Directorate of Higher Education, Panaji, in Marathi category and First place at
Poetry Recitation Competition organized by Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College,
Margao.
Sports Achievements:
• Ketan Kerkar and Aditya Kankonkar won Gold Medals in the Inter-Collegiate Judo
Competition at Goa University.
• Rahul Kurdekar won Gold medal in the Inter-collegiate Best Physique Competition
at Goa University.
• Women Kabaddi team won the Runners-up trophy in the Inter Collegiate Kabaddi
tournament at Goa University.
• Kho-Kho women team won the Runners-up trophy in the Inter-collegiate Kho-kho
tournament at Goa University.
• Cricket Men team won the Runners-up trophy in the Inter-Collegiate Cricket
tournament at Goa University.

• Workshop on “Waste Management” - 24 th July, 2010.
• State level seminar on “Money Matters: Consumer Rights and Responsibilities” by
Consumer Welfare Cell in association with Dept. of Civil Supplies and Consumer
Affairs, Govt. of Goa - 4 th March, 2011.
• Workshop on “Mind Dynamics and Personal Excellence” by Staff Academy for staff
members - 21 st and 22 nd March, 2011.
• National seminar on “Enhancement and Sustenance of Quality and Excellence in
Institutions of Higher Education” sponsored by NAAC, Bangalore, 21 st and 22 nd
March, 2011.
