Other Information
Ten post-graduate students of the Department of Portuguese, Goa University, attended
the first Summer ForLínGOA Course, organized by the Department of Languages and
Cultures of Aveiro University, Portugal. The project ForLínGOA, financed by IPAD
(Instituto Português para o Desenvolvimento), was created under the M.O.U. between Goa
University and University of Aveiro and aims at improving the teaching and language
skills of current and aspiring teachers of Portuguese in India, and in Goa in particular.
Besides the Creative Writing and Oral Expression workshops, which were held at the
University of Aveiro, the students of ForLín GOA also participated in several cultural
activities in Aveiro, Lisbon, Porto and Torres Novas.
