Other Information
• Sonashia Velho Pereira, Research Fellow, was awarded a cash prize for the
performance in hands-on session of the National Workshop on
Immunoinformatics organized by Bioinformatics Centre, University of Pune, Pune,
5–10 April, 2011.
• To create awareness during International Year of Biodiversity-IYBD - 2010, N. M.
Kamat completed his monthly series of articles on Biodiversity Heritage of Goa in
Goa Today monthly in December 2010 and began another series ‘Goa’s Tryst with
Chemistry’ from January, 2011 to highlight International Year of Chemistry-IYC.
