The shortage of engineers is a major
concern in Africa and across the world,
where there has been declining interest
of young people, especially women. As
a means to increase female enrolment
into engineering and science-based
professions, the UNESCO Office in
Nairobi organized Scientific Camps of
Excellence for a second consecutive
year. Students from Kisumu Girls’ High
School (Kenya) at a third mentorship
camp from 23 to 28 November 2015.
