Ana Palhas
Portugal
Ana Paula Bruno Palhas was born on 3rd March 1961, in the small city of
Grândola in Portgual’s Alentejo region.
She has always been fascinated by the arts especially by painting.
After some years of self-tuition she attended the Alencores Painting
School. There, under the tutelage of Professor Charles Hejnal, she
discovered the magic of colour and gained the necessary techniques
to help her develop her work. For Ana, realism is the style which most
satisfies her ambitions and which she loves most.
Ana enjoys the privilege of living in a region close to both the beauty of
the sea and the colours of the Alentejo countryside which provide the
motives and the inspiration for her painting.
Since 2005 she has participated in single and collective exhibitions. She
was awarded the gold medal in the 3rd Salão Internacional de Arte da
Galeria Aberta in Estoril.
