Ruth Stirnimann<br />
Ruth Stirnimann is an internationally renowned<br />
artist born in Switzerland and now living and<br />
painting in Kaikoura, New Zealand. She works<br />
in two juxtaposing styles, each complementing<br />
<strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r like yin and yang; informal abstract<br />
paintings and geometric works. She loves to go<br />
beyond <strong>the</strong> known, making intangible energies<br />
tangible. She has exhibited in many cities around<br />
<strong>the</strong> globe. Ruth’s geometric works are expressions<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> creative, harmonious vibration underlying<br />
all life forms. She approaches her informal abstract<br />
works with openness, following <strong>the</strong> mysterious,<br />
creative force that flows through her. The many<br />
layers <strong>of</strong> each painting produce a great depth and<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>ound harmony.<br />
