Fine Art is a form of communication encompassing vision, touch and sound.
It is communicated in many forms demonstrated through using different techniques developed over time since those first
expressed in the caves of our ancestors.
This 2nd Edition of State of the Art | International Artist’s Book, edited by the Galeria Aberta / Art Vip Gallery, shows us a
global collection of contemporary works of art which combine to offer a profound knowledge of existing artistic heritage,
each artist serving society at the behest of beauty, culture, customs and tradition.
The promotion of artists by art critics, exhibitions, social networks, or through any other medium, is important for their (re)
cognition as artists and as a forum for the reception of their artworks.
Galeria Aberta, through staging exhibitions, producing books and other initiatives, provides this service, ensuring that the
work is presented at a level of quality capable of creating a social impact within the art world.
This book is not a dictionary, but a compilation of artists interested in promoting their work with a trusted organization
which is interested in protecting the needs of the artist.
There are many artists for who art, as well as being their profession, is a way of life: they live and breathe their art and,
through study and talent, strive to achieve recognition and success.
This publication is essentially a global group exhibition revealing itself to a world-wide audience sensitive to the aesthetic
qualities shown here in a multitude of formats. A group of diverse, self-motivated artists all communicating through common
elements, namely – colour and design.
One may question whether this book is a suitable form of communication for marketing artistic achievement, but these days
all forms of communication are valid and Galeria Aberta is a principled organization with the best interests of the artist being
its primary objective.
The artists featured in this publication should be considered as artists from the upper echelons of the world of fine art.
