Luís Liberato<br />
Luís Liberato, a self-taught artist, was born in<br />
Guinea-Bissau in 1955 and currently resides<br />
in Lisbon. In 2010 he began to devote himself<br />
exclusively to painting and since <strong>the</strong>n he has<br />
exhibited in both individual and collective shows.<br />
His work is based on memories and he<br />
superimposes a variety <strong>of</strong> media to add depth,<br />
intrigue and interest to his painting. Luís Liberato’s<br />
captivating images leave <strong>the</strong> completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
concept to <strong>the</strong> beholder by enticing <strong>the</strong>m to draw<br />
on <strong>the</strong>ir own imagination and memories.<br />
