Regina Affonso
Regina Affonso was born in Brazil but is now deeply
rooted in Portugal where she has lived since 1967.
Her artistic talents were nurtured at the Fine Arts
Centre of São João da Madeira.
Regina is a member of a number of artists’
associations including:
AAAGP - (Association for Friendship and Art for
the Galician area of Portugal), Artelista, Aveiroarte,
Majeur, Fineart America, Galeria Aberta, Artebo
and L’Agenzia di Arte.
She has enjoyed many solo exhibitions held at
numerous locations throughout Portugal and
has participated in international shows in Brazil,
Uruguay, Spain, Italy, Austria and the prestigious
Louvre Museum in Paris.
Her paintings were published in “30 Selected
contemporary international Artists” - 2º vol.
Museum of the Americas Artists Library and Artists
across continents 2014 - Artcom.
She was awarded at 4º Expovisão Internacional
96 - Fotografia. Honor Mention at 1ª Arte Expo
Oliveira do Bairro - Galeria Aberta - Cais Art’s and
Silver medal at l Salão Atravessando Continentes
by Artcom and Galleria La Pigna. Gold medal by
AAAGP and ArtCom at Galeria Mun. Montemor-o-
Velho.
Regina’s striking and vibrant art has merited many
awards and her work can be found in collections
in Brazil, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, the Azores,
Madeira, Dubai, France, Norway (Oslo) and
Morocco.
